Delicate Crochet Leave Sculptures by Susanna Bauer
Susanna Bauer is an artist who works with the embroidery technique of crocheting on fragile dry magnolia leaves. Bauer, with a creative mind and steady hand, stitches these tiny patches of leaves which experiment with restructuring the leaf, adding lacework around its edges and patiently threading very small designs to the ridges along the leaf.
